Alawis Entertainment is a company born out of a friendship and business relationship between Michael A. Curtis and Gordon Magee, one from Alabama and the other from Wisconsin. Mike and Gordon have known each other for more than a decade and have co-written music, and worked for major clients like the US Army Field Band and it's Country Music Group, Six-String Soldiers.
Michael A. Curtis is the "Alabama" of Alawis Entertainment. He is a seasoned singer, songwriter, record producer and performer. He has written for Grammy award winning artists like Blake Shelton, Shenandoah, Randy Travis and many others in the Country Music industry.
Gordon Magee is the "Wisconsin" of Alawis Entertaniment. He is an experienced marketing professional, having been instrumental in growing the company he worked for, to the top position in its vertical. He is also a song writer, having co-written with Michael Curtis a song called Unbelievabull, recorded by Randy Travis as the theme song for Championship Bull Riding, and also Taps Today, a song honoring the original bugle song Taps, written by one of Gordon's relatives General Daniel Butterfield during the Civil War.
